Join the Santa Monica Sports Club for the first RoadRally of the 2026 SCRRC season! This rally is being written as a training rally to teach you how to RoadRally! It is perfect for beginners.
- WHAT:
- An SCCA-Sanctioned Navigational Time-Speed-Distance Tour RoadRally
- This rally is Event #1 of the 2026 Southern California Road Rally Championship (SCRRC) in conjunction with the San Diego Region of the SCCA.
- Visit http://www.scrrc.net for information about the series, future events, past results, and current standings.
- WHEN:
- Competitors can check-in and receive their Route Instructions starting at approximately 9:00 AM.
- Competitor meeting at 9:30 AM.
- First car out at 10:01 AM.
- There will be a 25-minute break around 11:30 AM (first car).
- The first car should reach the finish around 2:00 PM.
- WHERE:
- START: Starbucks, 23335 Mulholland Dr, Woodland Hills, CA 91364. Come in, grab a coffee and a snack, use the restroom, etc. Check in will probably be outside the café.
- FINISH: The Stand, 966 S Westlake Blvd, Westlake Village, CA 91361
- PRICE:
- The entry fee is $35 per car. The driver must be an SCCA member, however weekend memberships can be purchased for $20 which can be credited towards a full membership.
- AWARDS:
- Results will be posted online and trophies awarded to the top finishers in each class at the finish.
- LENGTH:
- The rally will cover approximately 100 miles in just over 4 hours following legal speed limits.

- PARTICIPANTS:
- Each vehicle must have at least two participants, a driver and a navigator. Passengers are allowed, but no more than can be safely carried in the vehicle and they must sign the event waiver.
- WHY:
- The object of a navigational rally is to follow the rally course at the assigned (legal) speeds and to arrive at each checkpoint on time; not early, not late. Your score on each leg of the rally is based on how early or late you arrive at each checkpoint.

- Hosted by the Santa Monica Sports Car Club, an affiliate of the Cal Club Region of the Sports Car Club of America.

This rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone.
