There and Back Again: Time-Speed-Distance RoadRally

--Sunday October 25th 2026--

ABOUT THIS EVENT-

There and Back Again (Taba) is a 100-mile Divisional Tour Road Rally with easy to follow route instructions. This rally starts at the Charles Prince Memorial Park  in Middletown,DE and ends back in Middletown,DE at Crooked Hammock Brewery. The rally has been designed with newcomers in mind. All turn instructions are supported by official mileage and speeds are at or slightly below posted speed limits. No tricks or traps are present in the instructions, just pay attention to the route instructions to stay on-time and enjoy the drive.

The course will take you from Middletown,DE through Maryland farm country on the western side of Route 301, over some local waterways and down through the historic town of Chestertown,MD. The later part of the course crosses back over Route 301 into Delaware and into the Millington Wildlife Area. We will end the day at Crooked Hammock Brewery for food, drinks and awards. Along the way you can enjoy many great roads and wonderful fall colors.

Awards will be presented to teams who achieve the lowest overall score in their class. We will also have a special Best in Class Subaru award presented in part by OVERTAKE for those that run a Subaru vehicle in the rally.

This is a Divisional event for those looking to compete for SCCA Course RoadRally Series points in the standard Equipped,Limited,GPS and Stock classes. For newcomers and teams that have participated in five or less road rallies, this event will offer a Stock (Novice) class as well.

We will use the Richta GPS checkpoint system to check and score the event. Richta GPS checkpoint system is a free to use app and will record your arrival time at each checkpoint.  You'll keep this app open while you run the rally and it will use the GPS signal from your device to record your arrival time at each checkpoint. Once you pass a checkpoint, the app will automatically calculate your score for that checkpoint and announce it to you.  You will be able to see your live score right away so you can check how you are doing.

Instructions about the Richta App will be emailed to all registered contestants a few weeks prior to the event along with some general instructions.
