Arizona Region August Night RallyCross , August 26, 2023
Location: Camp Verde Equestrian Center :1495 E Hideout Arena Ln, Camp Verde, AZ 86322
Event Description: We are having our first night event. Get your lights ready to see those cones around the corner. We will be planning on setting up the cones with some glowsticks to better see the course when cars aren't on track. The course will be completely dark with a handful of lights only illuminating the pits/registration areas. We will be planning to start driving at 7:30 pm with sunset starting at a projecting 7:05pm.
This event will be run like our typical Saturday Practice events with single runs and bundles available.
We will be introducing a sessions format with driver assignments for course working. This event will be a first-come situation with session sign ups available at registration.
Entry Limit: This event will be limited to a 40 car limit.
Cost:
5 Runs: $50
10 Runs: $90
1 Additional run: $10
*you will still be required to hold a valid SCCA membership or purchase an SCCA weekend membership
SCCA weekend membership : $20
Onsite registration or payment accepted.
All persons driving in a car at this event must have an SCCA membership, either full or weekend. Ride-alongs are free but do required a weekend membership as well as signing a waiver.
Everyone (including spectators) is required to sign a waiver.
All entrants are required to work at the event.
Penalties: Penalties per the 2022 SCCA Rallycross rules.
Schedule:
4:00pm : Venue opens for registration and course walks
6:45pm: Drivers Meeting
7:30pm: 1st run groups starts
9:30pm: short brake between run groups
10:00pm: 2nd run group starts
11:59pm: Driving ends and awards/night activities begin
Venue Facilities: The venue will have a dedicated pit/camping area. They are requiring a $20 per vehicle charge for camping (this includes trailers and vehicles on trailers) for parking there is a $10 charge if you are not camping (camping fees include parking fees) . There are bathroom and water facilities onsite.

For this reason it is highly recommended to carpool to keep costs down for competitors and spectators.
This is a very well cared for equestrian arena and we are pleased to be working with them to bring this event to the area. There are horses and other operations present on the facility please be respectful and leave the site that way you found it.
Event requirements
- A Valid drivers license is required to race.
- SCCA Membership is required. You may purchase a yearly membership through the SCCA or click 'CONTINUE' to purchase a weekend membership for this event. Weekend memberships can be applied to a full membership after the event.
- Helmets are required. If you don't have a helmet meeting one of the following standards, loaner helmets are available: Helmet Requirements
- Loaner helmets may be available. But they are first come first served and therefore not guaranteed
- You car must pass a basic safety/tech inspection. Make sure your battery is secured & positive terminal is covered, brake pedal is firm, throttle moves freely, wheels have minimal play, and car is empty of any loose objects, including the spare tire, subwoofers, amps, etc.
